Caving for beginners can be intimidating, so come along with one of our guides as we demystify the sport and encourage you to take the next steps in your life underground. Bat Cave Crawling Tour: Now that you have walked through Bat Cave, it’s time to try squeezing your way through some of the more adventurous passageways. If this trip is for you, stop by or call the Welcome Center to sign up. Helmets, headlamps, and coveralls provided. Limited space is available. Requirements: Must wear closed-toed shoes Cost: $35 Age: 8 and up (15 and under must be accompanied by an adult) Length: 2 hrs
Bat Cave Walking Tour: Bat Cave is a completely wild cave free of commercial walking paths and lighting. Get the opportunity to do some light spelunking, a.k.a. “wild caving,” as you explore the longest cave at the park! Helmets and headlamps provided. Limited Space! Sign-up at the Welcome Center. Requirements: Must wear closed-toed shoes Cost: $20 Age: 8 and up (15 and under must be accompanied by an adult) Length: 2 hrs
Cascade Gone Wild: While taking our typical Cascade Cave tour on foot, you probably looked down some passageways and thought, “Hmm, I wonder where that goes?” This tour is your opportunity to find out. This tour is perfect for beginner crawlers, especially those taking their first steps into a wild cave. Helmets, headlamps, and coveralls provided. Tickets are sold at the Welcome Center. Requirements: Must wear closed-toed shoes, 3-mile drive to Cascade Cave Cost: $35 Age: 8 and up (15 and under must be accompanied by an adult) Length: 1hr 30 min - 2 hrs
Saltpetre Crawling Tour: Now that you have walked through Saltpetre Cave, it’s time to try squeezing your way through some more adventurous passageways. The Valley Trek: Come with us on a guided hike of the Horn Hollow Trail. Along the way, we will step into Horn Hollow Cave, Laurel Cave, and Rimstone Cave. Experience some crawling passages and be prepared to get wet! Helmets, headlamps, and coveralls provided.
